SibEnergoGroup provides professional advice in respect of selection of the equipment for Ust’-Ilimsk thermal power plant

KF COTES company will do a feasibility study for the project of reconditioning of boiler units for the AES Ust’-Kamenogorsk thermal power plant Ltd.

Research institute KF COTES, which is Kazakhstan branch of SibEnergoGroup, has won a tender for preparation and development of a feasibility study for extension of the AES Ust’-Kamenogorsk thermal power plant Ltd. by installing a new boiler unit at the facility. SibEnergoGroup engineers are required to make a summary of the best practices of fossil fuel combustion technologies, including the usage of CFB (Circulating Fluidized-Bed) boilers, and to define the most appropriate ways of constructing a boiler in the already existing cell of plant’s structure.
